Mission

The Western Regional LGBTQIA College Conference is three days of workshops, discussions, lectures and special events for California Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender individuals and their allies. The conference is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members. This year’s theme revolves around three ideas: Honor the past, Impact the Present, and Define our Future. We would like to honor those who have come before us by educating and promoting awareness of our community. By promoting leadership and social development we will impact the present, and by going forth from the conference and causing change we can define our future. The conference is intended to be a place for growth and development for anyone who fits within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and Ally community.

The Western Regional Conference is dedicated to promoting education, leadership and social development of LGBTQIAA people; to building support among populations, and coalitions between campuses. The conference accomplishes this through workshops, general sessions, roundtable discussions, and personal connections created through open discussion.
