Proposal Review:
All workshop proposals will be reviewed by the UCSB Conference Committee.
Considerations for selection include: relevance to conference goals and
themes; depth of content; presenter qualifications and experience with
topic; and overall strength of the submission. UCSB reserves the right
to decline to review proposals received after the Extended due
date deadline of Friday, December 12, 2008.
Acceptance
Notification Date: Friday, December 12, 2008
or December 19 for those submitted under the extended deadline.
The Lead Presenter of each
application will be notified of the status of their proposal. A registration
form for one presenter (fee waived) will be provided with accepted programs
notification. The waived registration may be applied to any one co-presenter,
who need not be the Lead Presenter. The presenter registration form must
be completed by January 16, 2009.
Presenter
Responsibilities:
Presenters are encouraged to provide attendees with relevant supporting
materials, such as fact sheets, articles, and guides. Presenters are responsible
for any copying costs incurred. Presenters are responsible for making
their own travel arrangements. The conference registration fee will be
waived for one presenter only, per accepted program application. All other
co-presenters are responsible for registering for the conference with
proper payment.
